Dr Choudhary did his graduation(MBBS) and post graduation in Internal Medicine from Dr. SN Medical College, Jodhpur. After post graduation he did his residency in Haematology at CMC Vellore and at SGPIMS Lucknow. He completed his DM in Clinical haematology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He also did Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship training at Vancouver General Hospital in Leukemia/BMT program of British Columbia. Then was consultant Clinical Hematolgy at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he started Allogenic BMT for Thalassaemia Major and Aplastic anaemia.
At present he is a Consultant Clinical Hematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Physician at the B.L. Kapur Memorial Hospital, New Delhi.
His areas of interest are:
Bone Marrow Transplantation - his special area of interest lies in the field of Allogeneic Bone marrow transplantation specially for Thalassaemia Major and Aplastic Anemia. He also performs Allogenic and Autologous Stem Cell transplantation for Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma.
Hematological Malignancies – Particularly Acute and Chronic leukaemia (Myeloid and Lymphoid), Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Myeloproliferative disorders.
Benign Haematology – Anemias, Bleeding and Clotting disorders.
